Alpaca Grove is proud to have donated an electric guitar signed by the members of EXTREME! Pat Badger is the bassist of the band and owner of Alpaca Grove.
This is a Washburn N2, Nuno Bettencourt signature model. Nuno rose to international prominence as a guitar hero after Extreme released its self titled CD in 1989. Three more releases followed, including CD Pornograffitti which included the hits "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted" - reaching #1 and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart respectively. The band sold over 10 million records worldwide before splitting in 1996.
Extreme has re-formed and is currently finishing their 5th album and touring the US. Put your hand up and bid on this unique piece of rock memorabilia!
All of the proceeds will be donated to The Sock Brigade - created by Randy and Barbara Coleman from Wings and a Prayer Alpacas. Their son Micheal Coleman is currently serving in Iraq - during a previous tour he had requested a pair of alpaca socks. From that request, THE ALPACA SOCK BRIGADE was born. Thanks to the EXTREME generosity of the alpaca community, thousands of alpaca socks have been sent to our soldiers serving abroad!
The guitar has now been re-gifted twice, to be auctioned again and again, and The Sock Brigade has been able to send over 4,000 pair of alpaca socks to our troops stationed overseas! |
